Account Management
To create a new account, please visit the Turbine List signup page.
- You’ll need to enter your email address, contact information, and a password.
- You will need to agree to Turbine List’s terms of use for posting listings on Turbine List.
- Once you’ve done so, check your email for account creation verification.
- An email link will be provided to complete verification of your new account with Turbine List.
- Once your account has been created and verified, you are ready to start posting listings.
Forgot or lose your account password, simply click on the login page and you will see a “forgot password” link to reset your password.
Your account will have 4 menu options:
- My account – will provide your user account details, i.e. edit your profile info, and reset your password.
- Add new listing – your new listing form to complete to add a new listing to the site.
- Manage listings – a list of all of your listings associated with your account, including edit & delete buttons.
- Favorite listings – a list of all of your favorite listings that you have clicked on as a favorite listing.
No, there is no cost to having an account with Turbine List. You must have an account to post listings on our site. An active email address is needed to verify your new account.
Yes, if you need to have more than one account, you are free to do so. You will need a different email address for each account.
- Please check your bulk/junk/spam mail folder(s) in your email account.
- Check that you may have entered your email address incorrectly—it only takes one typo!
- Your email provider may be experiencing delays, or other technical issues.
Create & Manage Listings
You will need to be logged into your account. If you do not have an account yet, please signup for a new account. Once you have created a new account, or are logged into your account, simply click on the “Add New Listing” from your Account menu options. Reminder that accounts must adhere to the Turbine List Terms of Use.
No, there is no cost to post a listing. All listings on our site are free of charge.
There is no catch. Turbine List was created by turbine industry experts for the turbine industry. No catches.
As many times and as often as you need, but within the terms of use guidelines.
To edit your listing, you must be logged into your account. In your account dashboard you will see your “manage listings” in your menu. That link will take you to view all of your listings. You will see the grey EDIT button to the right of each listing. Simply click the edit button to be taken back to the listing form to edit your listing.
Your listing will run for 30 days, but you can delete a listing at any time. To delete your listing, you must be logged into your account. In your account dashboard you will see your “manage listings” in your menu. That will take you to view all of your listings. You will see a red DELETE button. Simply click the delete button and you will see a popup window appear to confirm that you want to delete a listing.
All listings will run for 30 days. You will be sent an email 5 days before it expires to renew your listings if you need to list it for a longer period of time. Please note, all postings are automatically deleted upon expiration if you do not opt to renew the listing.
When you receive a reminder that your listing is about to expire, simply go to your account and renew the listing.
You would need to add the listing back in as a new listing.
Listing Features
We have provided “SERVICES” category with subcategories broken down by Field Services, Shop Services and Other Services. You are free to advertise your services in any of these categories.
To mark your listing “SOLD” , you must be logged into your account. In your account dashboard you will see your “manage listings” in your menu. That will take you to view all of your listings. Click on the listing that you sold. You will be taken to the listing form to edit the listing. You will see the “SOLD” box at the very bottom of the form. Hit save to update your listing. You will then see a red tag on your listing marked as SOLD. Congrats!
Yes, you will see the “Add Images” during the add a listing process. You can add up to 10 images. When you click add images, you will be prompted to upload images from your computer. Please note when loading images, they may take a little bit of time to load depending on the size of your images. Please refrain from posting large size images to your listing. The smaller the file size, the quicker they will load for your potential buyers and/or sellers and it is easier on our web-hosting.
You will have the option to add up to 10 images. Each image file size should be less than 2MB.
No. The listing form only accepts JPG, JPEG, GIF and PNG images. You can, however, take a photo or scan of your RFQ and load into the listing as a JPG/JPEG.
The listing description area does provide many text options to format your listing description. This is for security reasons for our site so we can continue to offer listing for free. No support is provided for JavaScript, applets, Flash, or other embedded non-HTML content. The listing provides a plain text area for your listing description.
Yes. The accessibility menu can be enabled by clicking the accessibility menu icon that appears on the bottom right corner of the page. Turbine List makes available the User-Way Accessibility Widget that is powered by a dedicated accessibility server. The software allows Turbine List to improve its compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines by enabling the accessibility menu.
Listing Rules & Guidelines
Turbine list is for turbine industry parts, equipment and or services only. All other industry parts, equipment and/or services is prohibited and will be removed. Additional list of goods, services, and content prohibited on Turbine List:
- False, misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent content; bait and switch; keyword spam.
- Offensive, obscene, defamatory, threatening, or malicious postings or email.
- Anyone’s personal, identifying, confidential or proprietary information.
- Stolen property, property with serial number removed/altered, burglary tools, etc.
- US military items not demilitarized in accord with Defense Department policy.
- Spam, mis-categorized, over-posted, cross-posted, or nonlocal content.
- Postings or email the primary purpose of which is to drive traffic to a website.
- Postings or email offering, promoting, or linking to unsolicited products or services.
- Affiliate marketing; network, or multi-level marketing; pyramid schemes.
- Any good, service, or content that violates the law or legal rights of others.
